Welcome to Veteran School Directory

Hi, I’m Jason Michael, and I created Veteran School Directory to help my fellow veterans navigate the often confusing world of higher education benefits.

After serving over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel and military pilot, I know firsthand how challenging the transition from military to civilian life can be. One of the most valuable benefits we earn through our service is access to education—but figuring out how to maximize those benefits isn’t always straightforward.

Why I Started This Site

When I was researching schools for myself and helping fellow veterans do the same, I found that information about GI Bill benefits, Yellow Ribbon programs, and veteran-friendly schools was scattered across dozens of websites. I wanted to create a single resource where veterans could find clear, accurate, and up-to-date information about their education options.

With my background in financial planning (I hold a Master’s degree in Financial Planning), I understand how important it is to make smart decisions about education investments.
